I did something bad: i placed an order for Salty Dog VI and the Saiyuki GAIDEN calender. Came out to about 70.00 and that's money i shouldn't be spending, but i just couldn't take it. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE OUT ON THIS STUFF ANYMORE! Like i did with the Wild Adapter calender. :O

Ah, and i decided to go ahead and sign up for the 12 Days of Cookies. Anyone want to do them with me?? Like we could all take a day or something?? I dunno, i just thought it'd be great holiday fun, plus no one person is gonna get stuck with more cookies than they can handle. lol Well, either way, i'm gonna try and make a few. I love baking during the holidays. ♥

Speaking of food and the holidays, adopt a turkey? We can't do anything for the dead ones (except eat them, haha, bad joke) but we can do something for the live ones? And i'm not going to get into any further details since it'll only depress everyone (including myself) but i figured maybe some of you might want to know about this program (since for the most part i think my f-list is an animal-loving f-list XD)? I know this probably makes me seem hypocritical since i did go out and buy a turkey, but it's not the eating meat part i find repulsive and unethical, it's the practices in the meat industry that make me want to hang those people by their feet and skin them alive. AH! I'm getting too carried away. I want this to be a happy post. >_<

And here's a bit of TMI for ya'll: this particular period is kicking my ass. I just feel so tired and PISSED. JUST AGH!! I want to kill EVERYONE!! Like i just want to start strangling people at random. I dunno, i think it probably has to do more with the fact that i'm just sooo tired and stressed right now that my period's only serving to amplify it. But no matter, TMI, i won't go any further than this. lol

Ahhh, i still need to hook up my external hard drive to Spanner and reupload all the music and manga and all that good stuff to him. Oh, i haven't mentioned it, have i? That i made Spanner's brain explode a few weeks ago? No? Well, i made Spanner's brain explode a few weeks ago. D: I don't even know how. I use him to listen to music while Jeanette's away at work('cause my desktop is old and slow and iTunes makes that much slower D|) and a few weeks ago, he just gave out on me. He just wouldn't open any programs. I think it might've been the update from VAIO Care, but that's just speculation. Anyway, in the end, i had to do a system reboot after several failed attempts of a system restore. So, yeah, all the info's gone now and i have to reupload it and redownload programs for him. We've just been so busy lately, though, that we haven't had a chance to properly set him up again. :/

Blah, Chem tonight. OMGDESS, last Tuesday i felt like an ass. lol Oh, it was nothing big, but it really did point out how childish i am. ESPECIALLY AROUND JEANETTE. :O lol Since we have the same classes and times we only buy one book (these Science/Math books are fucking EXPENSIVE!! 8O) and share it. So Tuesday there we were sharing a book, and i was looking through it trying to find a chart for the charges on elements; Jeanette was trying to find something else. So, imitating our cats' behavior ('cause if they want you off the couch or chair or what not, they'll push you; yeah, inorite, ungrateful brats!), i began pushing her. It's a long running joke between us. But at that moment i hear the professor say (like a kindergarten teacher would've said it, mind you), "Mary, don't push your sister~" I felt like a five year old being chastised. >_<;;; lol Ah, well, but at least i knew the name of the compound she asked about afterwards! o/

I've been trying my best to stay up to date with some yaoi posts. X-mas just equals yaoi for me. lol I dunno, probably 'cause that's around the time i started reading yaoi on the comms and now it just puts me in the X-mas spirit. You know, i had almost forgotten how awesome people on yaoi posting comms could be. Argh~ I hope i can catch Dear Green tonight over at yamete_uzai! I've been trying to for these past few days, but THE NINJAS WHO LIVE UNDER MY FLOORS AND INSIDE MY WALLS KEEP SNEAKING UP ON ME AND EATING MY TIME. They must be super fat by now. Bastards. -_-#

Jeanette and i will be going out for dinner tonight; first to Cheddar's for some Monte Cristos then Macaroni's for some dessert ravioli, and finally, (maybe) to Applebee's for some blondies. Then, we'll be driving around watching all the cute little trick-or-treaters. Not very exciting, i know, but it's fun for us. We COULD go to a Halloween party, but blah, don't feel like i. I swear, we're just like hermit crabs. lol Hope everyone else'll be doing something fun~ X3

Thank goddess, Saturday Dr. Hawkins didn't show up for class and the exam was postponed for next week. OMGDESS, i really did study the hell out of it, but i'm just really glad to get more time to study Ch. 24 and 25. Resistors i'm super on. I mean, OMGDESS, it's really helpful to crack open a book and READ it, every now and then. Well, not only that but learning how to skip over all the extra crap. Especially in Physics, you have to make sure not to lose the forrest for the trees, ya know? I've also realized that i can't get impatient or half-hearted about it. I need to buckle down and put my mind to it. But anyway, i'm really happy i'll have this extra time to go over capacitors, power, and for the hell of it, as a just in case, RC circuits.

We'll be skipping Ethics today so we can study some more for our Calculus exam. ARGH~ Another thing i've been studying the hell out of. I mean, last night i fell asleep thinking of the Pythagorean Identity for secant and tangent. I swear, it kept coming up in my dreams, i could feel myself gritting my teeth and repeating to myself: sec²x-1=tan²x. And just trying to integrate it. I swear, i feel like i'm losing MY FUCKING MIND. lol *headdesk* So does Jeanette. And we still have a Chemistry exam tomorrow that we need to study for.

BUUUT~~ You know what? It's okay because we're already at the halfway mark for the semester so before we know it, it'll be over~ XDb

Furthermore, all these science classes really help clarify (or confirm) your perspective. Like Dr. Hawkins likes to tell his priest brother: I don't need faith! I've got Physics! XDb Ah, that doesn't mean that Dr. Hawkins is atheist, by no means. Physics just gives him the proof that there is a beautifully harmonized pattern in the universe. As to the nature of that pattern, well, that is still up for debate. And it's the cutest, funniest thing 'cause he likes to refer to god as she/they/it and he says it in sequence just like that too: This is how she/they/it speak to us! Physics, kids, PHYSICS! Math, too, is the language of the gods!! So learn your Physics and your Math! Learn it!! lol He's so squishie. lol

Anyway~ Back to the trenches. *siiiighhhhh*

I also have a Physics exam coming up on Saturday. Dr. Hawkins kinda scorned me for not studying more for the last exam. He was like, "Mary, you need to STUDY! STUDY, STUDY! Do some problems, just STUDY!" I-I think he's catching on to me, that i, most of the time, end up just copying Jeanette's homework. Ahahaha;;;; I know! I know!! Academic dishonesty! >_<;;;; But, i'm going to! I'm going to STUDY, STUDY. If nothing good is on TV or the internet. Haha, i kid, i kid.

You know, i've noticed that in our general classes (the ones that are part of the core curriculum, the ones that almost everyone has to take) people are fucking idiots. I don't mean like they don't understand the material and they're complete morons (well, that too sometimes) but that they're immature, jackass, slackers. In the classes that are more specific, more advanced, like our Calculus II class and our Engineering Physics II class, everyone is serious about the material; they pay attention, they're respectful and polite, they interact with the professors more (ask a good question or correct the professors' math, which can happen rather often with so many equations and formulas going on lol, the profs like it though when that happens 'cause it shows that you're paying attention and understand what's going on). Whereas in our General Chemistry class and Ethics class, people tend to be, for lack of a better word, jackasses. :/

OMGDESS, and Ni-Uke-chan, i fucking hate you!!! >I You just sit there rarely ever taking notes, watching the prof do her thing, absorbing the information like a sponge, and getting good grades. Nah, he's a good kid. He may look all bitchy metalhead but he's actually really nice and polite. It was surprising to say the least. lol Not that we were stereotyping him or whatever, it's just that he would sit there all like: >C (which is why Jeanette kept arguing with me over him being a seme and not an uke). But once he got up to the board and Jeanette asked him a question about his graph, his face just lit up, he explained cheerfully, and asked if it made sense now. After that, Jeanette was basically like: Aw, damn, you're right, he's an uke. Tch! What'd i'd say?! I know my semes and my ukes, yo. He's an uke with a bite~ XDb We've found a seme for him in our Physics class. He's a good seme, too! XDb Ah, i know, i know: but, Mary, they don't even know each other, they don't even share a class!! Ah~ It doesn't matter, their love will transcend pesky things like schedules and knowledge of each other's existence. I dunno, we're just making shit up to keep ourselves sane here so it doesn't have to be rational or make any sense, dammit!!

Tuesday really did feel like the first day of Fall. The morning was crisp, unlike summer mornings which are fresh. It felt bittersweet this time around, though. It really did signify the end of summer. It's sad. I guess, i just really enjoyed the summer. It was so relaxing and Jeanette and i got to spend a lot of time hanging out. BUT! This also means the holidays are around the corner and Monster will be airing on SyFy soon, so all that's definitely something to look forward to. X3

Washing dishes is suprisingly soothing. Lately, i've taken a shine to it. Whereas before i would just kinda stare at the sink like: lala~ I don't see no dirty dishes~~ Haha;;; I think it has to do with the fact that i get worn out by homework and washing dishes is a nice change of pace for me. And a productive one at that! So.. yeah.

OMGDESS, during the summer my brain really did turn to mush. D: I have forgotten how to integrate as well as many of the Physics, Derivatives, and Integration formulas. *headdesk* Well, actually, they are starting to come back little by little but still i needed them like yesterday. >_<;;; Fuck me, and i just absolutely BOMBED the Physics exam. Just fucking BOMBED the hell out of it. DX I didn't study at all for it! I was relying on the fact that he would allow us to use note cards like last semester which is where i write down all of my formulas. I'm completely lost without my formulas!!! Jeanette, too!! We were so bummed after class. Oh well, now we know. And we ARE working to fix it.

Tonight is the airing of the Eureka 7 movie. Yay~ We're gonna be hauling ass out of Chemistry. The class ends at 6:50 and the movie begins at 7:30 and it'll take us about 30 minutes or so to get across town if traffic doesn't have itself a shit attack that is. >_<;;;

Ah! And my first DP project is Aiso Tsukashi!! It's a sequel to Takaga Koi Daro featuring sexy Yakuza uncle. You gotta love Yamada Yugi. 8Db

Not that the show is bad or anything like that, but fuck me, i want to blow everyone's fucking brains out!! Like seriously. Just- ARGH!!!! I swear! I FUCKING SWEAR!!! They ALL get on my last fucking nerve. I'm sitting here like: Dude, just die. Just- just die. They're all just so- just so- EMOTIVISM, you know what i mean??? I dunno, they just piss me off. And OMGDESS, everyone else seems to get to live (on the "good" guys side... unless someone else was killed that i can't be bothered with remembering???) except Tieria???? Well, at least for this season, i mean. UGH!!! Why didn't they take out that Connie chick or whatever her fucking name is!! Or Saji too?! Or Marie or Lyle or Setsuna or Allelujah or Kujo?!?! My goddess, take your pick!! Bump 'em off, goddammit. Argh, i think if it was up to me, seriously, everyone would've died except Tieria. Tieria just gets it. I dunno how to explain it without turning this into a long fucking entry that i'm in no mood to make. So just trust me, 'kay?

And while i'm on a rant: OMGDESS, i fucking hate our Ethics class. Actually, both of us (my sis and i) do. The prof i could just throw off a bridge. The way he's handling this class: Could he make his views any more obvious and his logic any less explained??? You know, we would've loved to have seen Mr. Pynes (our History professor) teach this class. That man had a complete mastery of the Socratic method, i swear! He wins his argument by having you defeat your own. And it's not so much that he has a particular view (or at least one that he makes known) but rather that he becomes the devil's advocate for the sake of refining your argument by poking holes in it and making sure you've thought it through thoroughly and logically. I just really loved the way he did things. And this fucking book that we have for class, Doing Ethics, i dunno if it's a general concensus or just this author's views but i could piss on it and set it on fire. D< Anyway, one exam down three more to go.

This is the first time we've had exams for all of our classes in one week, i mean, not counting finals. Usually, some professors get off schedule and postpone an exam or something. Ethics was nothing we were worried about. Chem, Eng Phys II, and Cal II on the other hand, well, we've been trying our best to study as much as we can. I think it'll be okay. Or at least i hope so. D:
